This program provides a foundation in the principles, theories, and techniques of psychodynamic psychotherapy. This is a postgraduate training program for graduate level professionals in a variety of disciplines who are interested in a thorough introduction to psychoanalysis. This program provides participants with a completion certificate from NJI. There is an option to apply for the Advanced Psychoanalytic Certification Program. If accepted, all course credits will be transferred. Courses are taught online.
This program requires 8 online courses. In order to receive a completion certificate, one must complete 6 courses and 20 hours of supervision with an approved NJI supervisor. One must meet all requirements for those courses and complete all written material and assignments.
***For candidates enrolled in NJI’s One-Year Introduction Program, the 20 required supervision sessions will be offered at a maximum fee of $50 per session for either individual or group supervision.
