This workshop will introduce intuition in psychotherapy as a form of implicit, embodied knowing (knowing without knowing) that arises from unconscious processes, reverie, relational attunement, and instinctual sensitivity.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To define intuition within a therapeutic and relational framework, including its connection to unconscious processes, reverie, and embodied (instinctual) knowing.
  2. To identify and describe the role of intuitive processes in clinical practice.
  3. To apply techniques to recognize and utilize intuitive awareness in psychotherapy to enhance clinical effectiveness and support patient transformation.

Workshop Leader:

Inna Danieli is a licensed clinical social worker, a certified psychoanalyst, and a Jungian Sandplay Therapist. She is a member of the faculty at NJI.
