This program provides a theoretical framework and practical approach to understanding human development. This is a postgraduate training program for graduate level professionals in a variety of disciplines. Participants will receive a foundation in the principles, theories, and techniques of psychoanalytic psychotherapy with children and adolescents.
This program requires 11 online courses with 4 specialized tutorials. Candidates must complete 104 hours of supervision with an approved NJI supervisor, and 140 documented clinical hours working with children and adolescents. There is a final case presentation paper. This program provides participants with a completion certificate from NJI. Courses are taught online.
Every tutorial has 4 sessions, and each session meets for 75 minutes. Tutorials are taught and scheduled as individual sessions with the instructor. Candidates will pay $50.00 for every session to the tutorial instructor.
